Next Saturday at 8pm, at Lisboa Incomum, my piece Shades of White for violin and minimal electronics will be premiered by the Serbian violinist Dejana Sekulić. The piece was commissioned by Projecto DME for the artistic residency during these days. The score has some peculiarities, such as the absence of pitches and the use of decimal tempo markings. Most of the time the violinist bows the body of the violin.
