Winner of Francisco de Lacerda Foundation Millennium bcp Award 2023
I am delighted to announce that I am the winner of the Francisco de Lacerda Foundation Millennium bcp Composer Prize 2023. The jury for this edition was made up of Magnus Lindberg, Christian Mason, Aspasia Nasoupolou and Vasco Mendonça. Premiere of Desertificação
Yesterday was the premiere of my work Desertificação for orchestra of flutes, clarinets, saxophones, percussion and electronics. As part of the 3rd edition of Woodwinds Summercamp in Galveias, the concert featured several works and world premieres, two of which by Bernardo Lima and Lucas Rei Ramos. Premiere of ‘na plangência’
Next Thursday, my piece na plangência for clarinet and electronics will be premiered by Batista Júnior at Plurisons Festival (João Pessoa, Brazil). This work was commissioned by the clarinetist and it was composed in 2020. The score was created entirely in Adobe Illustrator and the colors represent the harmonies that occur in the electronics.
